Miniroos Presentation- Now Saturday 30th 2pm

Given most clubs have washed out this weekend, it is looking like rounds 12 & 13 will be moved to next weekend- 30th & 31st.

We had planned on holding our Miniroo’s presentation two weeks after finishing- Sunday 31st at 9am, but as the season has continued to stretch out, this will no longer work.

We had a backup date of the 14th of September however this is the very last possible day it can be as we have to hand the fields back to council. Given the rain keeps ruining everything we have made the decision not to wait until the 14th in case it also rains.

There is sunshine forecast for this week and next weekend so to give ourselves the best chance of being able to hold the presentation we have chosen to move it to Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

We will do a short trophy presentation and then move into the colour run.

This new date/time is pending the release of the rescheduled games, which I’m anticipating will be Monday.

I did reach out to HVF end of last week to try and get an update but haven’t had a response yet. Assuming they were waiting to see how many clubs washed out before making any decisions.

I am also aware that Metford has a gala day scheduled for the 30th. I can’t see how they will be able to hold it on this date given we were already advised washouts would be scheduled. I have reached out to them also to try and get an update for everyone as to whether it will be rescheduled again or just cancelled.

If we need to go with our backup date of the 14th, I will update everyone asap.
